World Championship Poker for GBA (Game Boy Advance) (Last Updated 5/24/26)

Intro:

In case you don’t know “World Championship Poker” (2004) for GBA (Game Boy Advance) is a casino and cards videogame (which in addition to having 4 poker variants (Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hold’em, Seven-Card Stud, and Five-Card Draw) also has the casino games Blackjack, Video Poker, and Slots). It can be played single-player or multiplayer up to 4 players, but to play it multiplayer (for at least original portable systems) you need another system that can play GBA games and another GBA cartridge for each player and a GBA Game Link Cable (model AGB-005) for 2–4 players (and with how it hooks up with a single hub in the middle you need 1x of them to play 2 player, 2x to play 3 player, and 3x to play 4 player) or a GBA Wireless Adapter (model AGB-015) for 2–4 players (and 1x is needed per player so 2x for 2 players, 3x for 3 players, and 4x for 4 players) except for a GBM (Game Boy Micro) which has a smaller port so it can’t use those and instead you have to use a GBM Game Link Cable (model OXY-008), or a GBA Game Link Cable coupled with a GBM Converter Connector (model OXY-009), or a GBM Wireless Adapter (model OXY-004).

The different ways you can play the game:

While 1 way you can play the game is the original way of buy the standalone GBA cartridge (and it works in any system that plays GBA cartridges) that is no longer the only way. A newer way is you can buy a GBA multicart or play it via a GBA EverDrive cart (also known as a “flash cart”) and GBA multicarts and GBA EverDrive carts work in any system that play GBA cartridges except for the RetroN 5 and RetroN Sq. And the other newer way you can play the game is with videogame console emulators. This game is also available for PS2 (PlayStation 2) and Xbox but it costs more to buy those versions than to buy it for GBA and the least expensive place online to buy World Championship Poker for GBA new is to buy it from me: here.
